Table Runner
I love all things retro, and a chrome table is a HUGE part of the retro look. I have a lot of new furniture mixed in this room as well, so I needed a way to update the look of the table. Quick solution... give it some color!
Telephone Table
OK, so no one really uses telephone tables anymore, but I really love the look of them. This one had previously been painted and reupholstered, but it was in a very drab grayish brown... not my look. I added it to the sun porch and painted it a bright sunny yellow to spruce up the room!
Sunporch Furniture Redos
I have always loved the look of wicker furniture, but it is very hard for them to not look dated. The last thing I wanted was to have old looking furniture in a house of mod stuff. I chose one kind of funky bright fabric and paired it with something a little more laid back in order to stick with a slightly more tradional sunporch look.
Patio Chairs
I tried to come up with a way to bring some color to my patio area. It is surrounded by hosta beds and everything is green. I love my hostas, but I wanted to brighten things up a bit. I chose a fabric that brought a little of my interior style to the great outdoors.

Valances and Magazine Rack
It wouldn't be my house if it didn't have color! In an attempt to add life to a grey and tan room, why not bring in some orange? And the records... a magazine rack.
Curved Back Chair
A Very Brady Bar Stool
This bar stool was found with the original vinyl seat as is. It was in mint condition. The back was a different story. It was falling apart, scratched up, and in your typical walnut finish. A little paint and some determination later, it is much improved.

Checkerboard Table
So... I can't take all of the credit for this one. I did see the idea somewhere else painted on a memo board. I loved it and decided why not put it on a table and make it usable? It is standard checkerboard size. Now all I need is an opponent!
Bedside Table
This has been one of my FAVORITE projects. I love the color. I love style. It was originally a light birch color with a brass knob. I think my version is much better!
Custom Headboard
I really do not like the look of natural wood very much, on furniture. I do however LOVE fabric! It was so hard to find a headboard that fits my taste, so why not make one?
